Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) is the oldest and largest membership–based environmental NGO. MNS aims ‘to promote the conservation of Malaysia’s natural heritage’, which is conservation of species, habitats and landscapes with public participation. Established in 1940 with 14 state branches, about 3000 members voluntarily organize nature activities.MNS’ overarching focus in everything it does is to conserve Malaysia’s diverse habitats.Our key role is to protect Malaysia’s natural heritage, especially ecologically sensitivelandscapes.
