What are ‘serious games’?

‘Serious games’ are often designed not just for entertainment, but to add value to the entertainment by providing and teaching specific skills, conveying information, or simulating real-world situations to raise awareness or practice problem-solving.

At MEME, we have designed our very own serious game called “Kisah Sang Belalai”, or “Trunk Tales”. With “Trunk Tales”, we hope to educate the public and stakeholders on the challenges faced by different stakeholders in ensuring coexistence between humans and elephants in conflict landscape, as part of our efforts to achieve coexistence with elephants.
