Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin Mum-Calf Pair Handmade Felt Keychain

The Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin is one of MareCet’s focal species for research and conservation. MareCet is currently studying this species in Langkawi Island, the coast of Perlis-Kedah, and the coast of Matang, Perak. The Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins are also known as the ‘pink dolphins’, as they are born grey and gradually lose their grey pigmentation and turn mottled pink or completely pink as they mature.
The keychain is handsewn by local ladies in Sibu Island, Johor (MareCet’s project site for dugong conservation). When you purchase the keychain, you are contributing towards keeping our marine mammal conservation work going as well as supporting local community livelihood.
The mum-calf pair is detachable – the calf is attached to the mum with a magnet.
